About Me
My name’s Simmy.
I am a 21yr old in recovery who has started multiple businesses, gotten jacked, and dedicated countless hours to helping young men find meaning.
I started writing after my dog Yogi died. He was more than a pet—he was my best friend, my anchor, and he saved my life.
I write about my human experience—grief, discipline, identity, love, meaning.
My only goal is that one of you may relate to something I say, and take meaning from it.
Project Yogi
After Yogi died, I started Project Yogi with the mission of building a platform to help young men find meaning through a journey towards becoming their highest and best self.
It’s not a brand. It’s not a product. It’s a commitment—to stay honest, stay present, and keep going when life falls apart.
I have lost everything and rebuilt multiple times.
This work is my attempt to turn these experiences into something useful.
To make sense of the chaos.
To offer a map for young men trying to build a meaningful life when they were never shown how.
There are no hacks here. No shortcuts.
Just the hard, honest path of becoming someone you can respect.
Everything I share is part of that journey.
